Andersen Dogs takes a unique approach to training that separates us from other programs in many ways. Below are the most significant differences that lead to our remarkable success rate:

We address the problems experienced in the home

in the home.

Often times, owners have taken all the necessary steps in their puppy or rescue journey- socialization, puppy classes, exercise, etc- to find they still struggle with behavioral problems at home. While class based training is valuable for socialization and practicing new behaviors, it rarely delivers any aide in remedying unwanted behaviors that exist within the home. In-home training sessions allow not only the opportunity to address unwanted behavior in the environment in which it occurs, you also get to do so with the full attention of a professional. This results in significantly improved behavior in a fraction of the time of group classes.

No upfront costs or minimum purchase requirements.

Behavior modification is an ongoing process that should be as flexible to your unique situation, budget and schedule as possible. This is why we offer one on one coaching in the home on a pay-per-session basis of $100ea (before tax) with no minimum requirement or upfront payment. This is to encourage clients to begin training as soon as behavioral problems occur. The pay-per-session method has the added value of allowing owners ultimate control over the number and frequency of sessions based on their personal schedules and budget with no risk of overpaying (purchasing more sessions than are necessary to the particular dog).

Training is an investment that is time sensitive; the longer an unwanted behavioral pattern is allowed to occur, the longer it takes to rehabilitate and the higher the risk of other behaviors surfacing as a result of the current patterns. Having the sessions take place in your home allows behavioral adjustment to occur in:

A) the place your dog is most comfortable

B) the place he spends the most time

C) often the place in which any problem behaviors originally occurred.

We charge per hour, not per dog.

Training works best when boundaries are applied to all members of the pack. You won't be charged extra if you have more than one dog in the household.
